Nicolas Winding Refn will be following up his Only God Forgives effort with a very exciting new all-female horror film called I Walk With The Dead. There were a number of projects that Refn could have followed up with, considering how well Drive did with audiences and how many projects he’s attached to, but he ended up with a horror film.
Hit the jump to learn more.
Refn confirmed the news on his Twitter account.
I Walk With The Dead has actually been on Refn’s long list of to-do projects for quite some time now. Drive co-star Carey Mulligan was signed on to star in the film back in 2011, but it is uncertain if she is still signed on to play. Production is set to begin in the summer in Los Angeles. We are likely to learn who will play the all-female sole survivors in this horror flick. And with the shoot starting as early as summer, it is very possible that we could get to see the film as early as 2015.
So what do you guys think of Refn’s new project? Will you watch an all-female horror film?
