Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, 300: Rise of an Empire and Penny Dreadful actress Eva Green has entered into negotiations to star in Tim Burton‘s next project, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
The movie is based on the book of the same name from author Ransom Riggs, which follows a 16-year-old boy who, after a family tragedy, finds himself trying to help protect a group of orphans with special abilities from creatures known as “hollows.” Green would play the title character, Miss Peregrine, who watches over the orphans.

Burton’s movie version of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, assuming all goes to plan, currently has a July 31, 2015 release date reserved.
