The folks at BBC One tweeted an exciting picture this afternoon of a couple of prominent detectives in early 20th century attire. In what could be a teaser for a return of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman‘s Sherlock Holmes and Watson in the popular series Sherlock, the image below will no doubt get fans worked up and excited for the detective’s return.

Both Freeman and Cumberbatch are featured in next month’s The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies so this might just be a quick picture to set the internet on fire with, but it also could be very advanced teasing for 2015’s Christmas Special for Sherlock shortly before the series four premiere in 2016. Either way, it’s good to see the boys returning to work.
