There’s plenty of little fun facts related to Game of Thrones for fans to discover, such as Hodor also being a popular DJ or King Robert Baratheon actor Mark Addy once playing Fred Flintstone alongside Stephen Baldwin as Barney, Kristen Johnston as Wilma, Jane Krakowski as Betty, and Alan Cumming as Gazoo in The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas.
Another fun fact most Game of Thrones fans not from the UK probably don’t know is that Jerome Flynn, the actor who plays Bronn, the sellsword that helps Tyrion Lannister survive a few nasty predicaments, used to be part of a pop music duo called Robson & Jerome with fellow actor Robson Green. The duo never recorded an original song, only covering established hits.
You can see Bronn singing a few of these songs below.
The duo began when they sang “Unchained Melody” for the British TV series Solider Soldier. Their cover was so popular with fans of the show it led Simon Cowell to ask them to record it as a single, which would eventually go on to become the best-selling single of 1995, staying at #1 on the UK charts for seven weeks and selling over a million copies. Other covers they’ve recorded include “What Becomes of the Brokenhearted,” “Pretty Woman,” and “Daydream Believer.”
Here’s a few other songs they’ve done, plus a bonus video of Bronn singing IN Game of Thrones for good measure, which is a bit NSFW…because Game of Thrones.
