During his recent cover photoshoot for Paper magazine, Marilyn Manson was accompanied by his father, who showed up dressed as his goth-rocker son, complete with white face paint, thick black eyeliner, red lipstick, and leather attire.

Manson, who’s real name is Brian Warner, took some endearing photos with his Vietman vet father, Hugh Warner, who was costumed like his all-black-wearing son.

Photographer Terry Richardson snapped the photos of father and son for Paper and posted some of the shots on his Tumblr page, along with including some noteworthy portraits of Manson alone. Check out some of those photos, as well as the Paper cover shot — which finds Manson in a Mickey-eared hat — in the image gallery here below.

According to the Paper article, upon seeing his father dolled up as him, Manson laughed, “That’s a good Ghost of Christmas Future.” For the Paper cover story, Manson talks about his days in Catholic school, where he was actually a good student, as well as his relationship with his father. Check out the full article over at Paper, where the interviewer points out that during the one time he saw Manson’s father that day, the elder man told him, “You know, he came from my nut-sack.”

Marilyn Manson, who had a role in the final season last year on the FX television series Sons Of Anarchy, released his latest album, The Pale Emperor, on January 20, 2015 in the U.S. and is out supporting the new effort on his The Hell Not Hallelujah Tour with dates in North America through May, before heading to Europe in June. At a recent show in Brisbane, Australia, Manson was joined on stage by friend Johnny Depp, who was in the country filming Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales on the Gold Coast.
