Everybody is so excited for the return of Season 5 of Game of Thrones this Sunday! Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays one-handed knight Jaime Lannister on the hit HBO series, visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, to talk about embarrassing his kids and giving a web-only exclusive, “Tales From the Set.”
Check out those videos here below, plus the icing on top of the awesome cake, the “Game of Thrones Cast Sings “I’m So Excited.” What?!?!?
In the first video, host Jimmy Fallon and Coster-Waldau agree that it’s fun to embarrass your kids. Madonna had just come on and showed Fallon a really embarrassing dance to try, and Fallon paid it forward by showing it to Coster-Waldau to really mortify his 11- and 14-year-old daughters. The dance is truly god awful.
In “Tales From the Set” Coster-Waldau tells how he and Peter Dinklage, who plays his younger brother Tyrion, embarrassed themselves during the trial scene by dancing down the aisle, which can now be seen on a blooper reel (also included below).
The third video shows off some really fancy editing using real Game of Thrones scenes, actors, and dialogue, so that it seems the cast is singing “I’m So Excited” by The Pointer Sisters.
Game of Thrones airs Sunday night, April 12th at 9pm ET on HBO. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weekdays at 11:35pm on NBC.
