The perkiest zombie in Seattle is coming back to The CW! iZombie returns for a full season 2 on October 6th, following The Flash once more! Here is the succulent little trailer, to tickle our delicious brains, and get us ready to solve some crimes, like our favorite dead medical examiner.
Watch the season 2 trailer below.
When we last saw Liv (Rose McIver) and the gang, everything turned topsy-turvy. Blaine (David Anders) is now a food enjoying human, Major (Robert Buckley) is now a zombie, turned by Liv to save his life. She made it up to him, by giving him the only sample of the zombie cure. Liv’s brother showed up at the brain store for his new job, just in time for the explosion. They want Liv to give him blood or he will die. She refuses, because there are no more cures.
What is a crime fighting zombie to do?
The trailer starts with a shot of Max Rager CEO Vaughn Du Clark (Steven Weber). Yay! It also shows a few incarnations of Liv’s personality – a fratboy, an old man (I think), and someone who is brutally honest (that could be the old man). For those not in the know, Liv eats the brains of the dead to figure out who killed them. A side effect is inheriting the personality and quirks of the person for a little while.
About iZombie:
Olivia “Liv” Moore was a rosy-cheeked, disciplined, over-achieving medical resident who had her life path completely mapped out”¦until the night she attended a party that unexpectedly turned into a zombie feeding frenzy. As one of the newly undead, Liv is doing her best to blend in and look as human as possible.
iZombie season 2 premieres Tuesday, October 6th at 9pm ET on The CW.
