Honest Trailer Star Wars Revenge of the Sith

The time for the force to awaken is almost here. Many have already seen screenings. Many are lining up for pre-shows and midnight openings, and tomorrow is the day the world has waited for… December 18th, 2015… Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. Fans have been watching and re-watching the original classics, annnnnnd the less than classic prequels in preparation for J.J. Abrams potentially record breaking new entry in the saga. With that, the gang at Screen Junkies gives to you, the Honest Trailer for the conclusion of the prequel trilogy… the best of the worst, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

Watch the Honest Trailer below.

The jokes are obvious, but totally warranted, with plenty of NOOOOOOOOO to go around. “Journey to a time long ago when we thought the prequels could still stick the landing.” Everything is up for grabs, but the focus is on Hayden Christensen and the whiny drivel he called acting. Narrator Jon Bailey hits it out of the park with this zinger; “a performance so robotic, his body finally catches up to his acting.” That’s a spit-take! But don’t worry… if you’re tired of abusing Hayden, let’s move on to Natalie Portman, because Screen Junkies are everything including equal opportunity offenders. Like, how Portman went from being a badass politician, and warrior Queen in the first two prequels to being a mopey, pregnant lady who stares out windows in this one.

Really the worst and most unforgivable thing about the prequels is the shattering of Darth Vader’s mystique. No one needed Jake Lloyd and baby Anakin, and when Bailey dumbs down his transformation, the whole character becomes sort of a joke, “Passed up for a promotion… has a bad dream… burned to a crisp because his teacher was standing on a hill.” It’s really sad… it makes wanna scream… NOOOOOOOO! Okay sorry.

Experience the best Star Wars prequel… by default, where Anakin goes from a noble Jedi to a child killing monster in literally 9-minutes of screen time. And where the ending is George Lucas cramming everyone into their New Hope Starting positions (HAHA)… oh yeah, and please try to not to get caught up in the continuity gaps created by making prequels 19, 22, and 25 years the last really good Star Wars movie…

Starring: Proof than “more” does not equal “better” like, 2 disposable CGI armies, 2 cyborgs with breathing problems, 4 unnecessary CGI flippy jumps, 8 severed limbs, and about 17 thing R2D2 couldn’t do in the original series… new title: Star Wars: Episode One Hundred and Eleven – The Force Aweakens. Really, the prequels can be summed up in one word, hit it Darth! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Screen Junkies currently have 5 million subscribers on YouTube and release a new Honest Trailer every Tuesday. Enjoy Episode 7, and don’t be a sith jerk and post spoilers!
