Last week’s episode of The Flash found Barry and Wells (Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanagh) racing to close the breaches, while Wells began leeching the speed from The Flash, putting him in considerable danger. And he kept warning Barry while he was doing it. In the end, he just could not betray Barry, and confessed all. They threw him in a cell, but good guy Barry decided to help him instead of punish him, setting the stage for a trio to Earth-2. Iris (Candace Patton) tried to investigate the drag racing to try to get her brother out of it, but got hurt. Oh, and the meta of the day was Tar-Pit, and he was pretty easily defeated.

Spoilers for tonight’s “Earth-2” episode below.

The Flash 2.13 “Welcome to Earth-2” review: Best. Flash. Ever.

Okay, my review is done.

Okay, not really. Can you believe what we just watched? They went to Earth-2! Yaasssss!!!!

They spent all of one minute on Earth-1. Had their goodbye dinner. I’m so happy Harry is good Harry. Cranky, but good. Cisco almost had a panic attack right before their trip. I completely understand Cisco. That’s how I feel right before I get on an airplane. And right off the bat…

They saw Supergirl fly by in the breach! Jay (Teddy Sears) said they would see everything. See you in the crossover, Supergirl!

“They’re excitable,” is Harry’s answer when Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) freeze with weird faces upon seeing the nice Earth-2 version of Dr. Henry Hewitt (guest Demore Barnes), welcoming Wells back to S.T.A.R. Labs. Barry and Cisco are so funny, taking selfies and annoying Harry. I felt what they were feeling.

There’s so many delightful little details, like Mayor Snart. Mayor Snart! A Snart is the Mayor of Earth-2. I wish I knew if it was Leonard, Lisa, or Lewis. I assume Captain Cold.

“All right Zoom. You can run but you can’t hide.” Damn… Cisco can’t vibe on Earth-2.

Deadshot is a cop. God, it was so good to see him again since his sacrifice for Diggle on Arrow. Remember? “You just get back to your baby girl, John.” He’s playing a coward on this Earth who can’t shoot worth a damn. Deadshot is his ironic nickname. We caught a glimpse of the captain as an Earth-2 crook.

Barry got to talk to his mom – with tears – mine and Barry’s. Did you happen to glimpse that phone? Eddie? Bruce? As in Wayne, maybe? Hal and Diana? Green Lantern and Wonder Woman?

Joe’s singing!! It was no “I’ll Cover You,” but we know he has those pipes. And he hates Bartholomew. Has that always been his name? That look of disdain hurt my feelings more than Barry’s.

Adam Fells – Geomancer is threatening Earth-2. Jay is forced to confess it was V-6 not Zoom that made him sick. Caitlin made a V-7 but it wore off quick. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) ended up saving his life, and Geomancer ran away. So, he’ll probably be back.

Cisco whips up a quick weapon (of course he does) to defeat Killer Frost and Deathstorm (Danielle Panabaker and Robbie Amell), whose ill-fated romance is the same on any Earth. Robbie Amell is dreamy on every earth, bad or good. I was completely digging bad Caitlyn. She had the “Dark Willow” attitude down – “Bored now.” And… poor Earth-2 Stein!

Holy S***t!

Vibe meets Reverb. Doppel-ganger. They almost bond. It’s adorable. What’s better than a Cisco? Two Cisco’s. My mind pretty much exploded even if one of them had a “samurai” thing going on.

“Are you Cloud City Vadering me right now?” Whaaaattt??? Excuse me while I go quote that on Facebook as well.

Earth-2’s last fight was completely bananas. Lots of death, and not a little bit of callousness on the part of the writers via Harry that Earth-2’s people are not real. Even Earth-2’s people act like its no big deal.

Cisco has a vibe-moment while he was not vibing. You will know it when you see it. I think that fates are meant to be similar in the two Earths.

Barry, of course, is in peril. Was that Earth-2 Diggle banging on the glass cage? Bonkers I tell you!

I’m dying to know who Zoom really is. There goes the Jay Garrick theory.

Hey, writers of this episode –Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Katherine Walczak. Please write every single episode together until the end of time.

Can you tell I liked this episode a little?

The Flash airs Tuesday nights at 8:00pm ET on The CW.
