‘BioShock Infinite’ Pushed Back To 2013; I and Many Others Weep

Back in September of 2010 when we witnessed in awe the first 10-minute gameplay demo for Ken Levine and Irrational Games’ BioShock prequel, BioShock Infinite, it already looked beautiful and dreamlike and perfect (enhanced by the 15-minute E3 gameplay demo that followed); perfect enough to being close to a release. But we knew there would be a bit of a wait in store as they perfected the game for a 2012 release, and that only heightened expectation, anticipation, and excitement levels.
Then came a release date, finally: October 16, 2012—over two years after we’d first seen the gameplay demo. But now, sadly, we the impatiently patient will have to wait even longer. [...]

Earlier today it was reported that Jessica Chastain had opted not to take on the “sexy scientist” role she was said to be up for in Iron Man 3. Not wasting any time, it looks like director Shane Black and company had another actress on stand by.
According to sources, Rebecca Hall is now in negotiations to play the character Chastain was lined up for. Apart from the brief description indicating that the character would be an attractive scientist type who’s just as smart as Robert Downey Jr.‘s Tony Stark character, all that’s known is that this will be a supporting role. All of that said, it looks like the screenplay isn’t quite where Lionsgate wants it. The studio is in talks with Academy Award winner Michael Arndt to take Beaufoy’s script and give it the rewrite treatment. [...]

Netflix In Early Talks With CBS About ‘Jericho’ Season 3; Is It ‘Firefly’s Turn Yet?

Netflix is making a little hobby out of at least inquiring into bringing back popular shows that have been canceled.
Back in March we found out that they were in very early talks with FOX to continue the recently canceled Steven Spielberg-produced prehistoric drama, Terra Nova. No word yet on how those chats went or are going, but if it works out the show would join Netflix’s first successful resurrection, the very popular Arrested Development. [...]

Australian Billionaire Clive Palmer To Remake Titanic Ship

We see Hollywood remaking everything in sight these days, from beloved classics we once thought untouchable to recent blockbuster franchises (or failed attempts at them) that were seen a decade or less ago. But why stop at just remaking movies? Video game remakes look like they could start becoming more popular, but that makes sense. No, no—we the human race need to start thinking really big in terms of our remakes…like, for example, objects of historical relevance, perhaps? [...]

‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops II’ Officially Announced; Watch The Debut Trailer Now!

It’s been rumored for a while now, and Activision has now made it official: this year’s installment of the Call of Duty franchise will be Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
The not so expected part is the game’s setting. Would it continue the ’60s-set Cold War storyline seen in the first game? Would it re-visit well-traveled ground like World War II or modern day warfare? As it turns out, it’s none of those things. Black Ops II will take us to new places in the Call of Duty franchise: the future. [...]
