It's being reported that Activision and Hasbro are teaming up for a game version of their upcoming tentpole project, also titled Battleship, which will follow “elite demolitions specialist Cole Mathis as he clashes against an aquatic-based extraterrestrial peril in the sand and sea of the beautiful Hawaiian archipelago. Director John Lyde has made a movie for Utah production company Arrowstorm Entertainment, and in this movie the corpse of slain terrorist Osama Bin Laden returns from his watery grave as a zombie.

A few years ago I, like many, wouldn't have thought a second G.I. Joe movie to be a likelihood. While G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was a spazztastic joy-bomb of a movie that bled pure, unadulterated fun from its pores, it wasn't quite the moneymaker that Hasbro's other big screen franchise brand, Transformers, had become. But after three years it looks like we're getting a sequel to The Rise of Cobra, and not only does G.I. Joe: Retaliation look a lot better than its predecessor but it appears that director Jon M. Chu (Step Up 3D) and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland), along with a mighty cast, have made a real-as-rhubarb G.I. Joe movie. For the past four years Finnish metal band lymystö frontman Timo Vuorensola has been struggling to make his directorial debut Iron Sky a reality. Following the online debut of a teaser trailer in 2008 Vuorensola was able to secure the necessary $8.5 million in funding, a chunk of which was provided by fans who wanted to see the neophyte filmmaker's dream come to fruition.

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Doctor Who video game, Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock, by BBC Worldwide.

The game is a downloadable title that will be available on the PlayStation Network for PS3 and PS Vita come March of 2012, with a PC release coming shortly after that.
