It’s been rumored for a while now, and Activision has now made it official: this year’s installment of the Call of Duty franchise will be Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
The not so expected part is the game’s setting. Would it continue the ’60s-set Cold War storyline seen in the first game? Would it re-visit well-traveled ground like World War II or modern day warfare? As it turns out, it’s none of those things. Must See: The Working Giant Nintendo Controller Coffee Table!

So many wild and wacky ideas, we humans like to come up with. For example: what would you say if I told you I wanted to make a coffee table designed like the classic Nintendo video game console’s controller…and that I wanted to still be able to play Super Mario Bros. on it?
That, of course, is nothing that I would ever say, because in the RPG that is this life, I have not taken the time to allocate my inherited points into useful skills such as woodworking and electronics and art. Instead, all of my skill points have gone into stubbornness, cynicism, and an unparalleled ability to eat food really well. [...]

Electronic Arts Voted Worst Company In America

Electronic Arts hasn’t made a whole lot of friends over the years as one of the video game industry’s juggernaut publishers.
This has been magnified in recent years as the evolution into downloadable content and the ever-growing control developers and publishers have over their titles after they’ve been released and make their way into your homes has allowed EA do things their way, a way that draws a very distinct line in the sand and declares one thing quite loudly: money over all else. [...]
