Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: Episode One – A New Day is now available on PC, MAC, Xbox LIVE Arcade, and PlayStation Network.

The five-part episodic adventure allows players to meet familiar characters and visit locations from the zombie-infested world created by Robert Kirkman, foreshadowing the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead comics.

It’s been rumored for a while now, and Activision has now made it official: this year’s installment of the Call of Duty franchise will be Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

The not so expected part is the game’s setting. Would it continue the ’60s-set Cold War storyline seen in the first game? Would it re-visit well-traveled ground like World War II or modern day warfare? As it turns out, it’s none of those things. Many fans of the video game Prey were pretty upset to find out that the game’s sequel, Prey 2 (first announced back in March of 2011), might be getting killed off.

Bethesda Softworks, the company publishing the game that was being developed by Human Head Studios for a 2012 release, has now offered up an update on the sequel, mainly reaching out to all of the angry/saddened fans and offering them reassurance that Prey 2 is still happening…they’re just now sure when it will be coming out anymore. A new teaser trailer for the upcoming Star Trek video game from Namco Bandai has been released online.

It’s being reported that DreamWorks is in negotiations to acquire Need For Speed, a movie based on the hit Electronic Arts racing game series being developed by brothers John Gatins and George Gatins. George is writing the first draft of the screenplay for the movie. [...]

You know that A&E television series Hoarders? It’s a reality show where a homeowner has collected so much stuff in their house that they can’t walk through it or sleep on their bed, and half the time, these people can’t even get into their bathrooms. The A&E crew will come in and try to help these hoarders clear their extreme cluster, finding not only tons of unnecessary stuff, but also lots of bugs, rat feces, and sometimes even rodent skeletons.
