Watch This Rare Old Indiana Jones Nutella Commercial

Would you want Nutella if you knew Indiana Jones desperately desired it, so much so he’d risk his life for it?
Well, that’s what the makers of the chocolate-hazelnut spread hoped when they came up with a commercial showing Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones risking death by booby-trap in order to steal not the golden idol, but rather a jar of Nutella.
The rare old commercial, which was put on the European VHS edition of Raiders of the Lost Ark, is now online thanks to Canadian cartoonist and videographer Paul Covello, who unloaded this gem to YouTube. Watch the commercial here below [...]

Watch the Original and Extended ‘John Carter’ Super Bowl TV Spots

Walt Disney Pictures premiered a new television spot for their upcoming big-budget sci-fi adventure John Carter last night during the Super Bowl and later released an extended version of the preview online.
You can watch both videos here below.
Both versions of the preview begin with a montage of scenes from John Carter that slowly reveal to form the film’s title, which would be a kick to watch if not for the fact that both the title and the logo font are awful. Go with the extended spot which delivers lots more action, sumptuous Martian vistas, and leapin’ Taylor Kitsch a-plenty! [...]

Watch the ‘Battleship’ Super Bowl TV Spot

During last night’s Super Bowl Universal Pictures debuted the latest preview for their summer alien invasion epic/board game adaptation Battleship.
You can watch the TV spot here below.
The minute-long TV spot is little more than a sizzle reel of destruction, awesome-looking aliens (where the writers and director Peter Berg playing Halo during the development process?), and a hard rock soundtrack. In other words this looks like the ideal summer event flick. I just hope there’s a really juicy steak among all this sizzle being sold, instead of that slab of rancid beef jerky that was Cowboys & Aliens [...]

Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy Fire Back At Fox News’ Attacks On ‘The Muppets’

You can’t blame the good people at Fox News for feeling the need to stir up some outrage; their relentless campaign of disinformation against President Obama has made them pariahs among more respectable news outlets and the current crop of Republican presidential candidates isn’t exactly inspiring confidence that the GOP will take back the White House this Fall (in a recent Fox News poll 44% of their viewers now believe that Obama would win a second term if either Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich were the 2012 Republican candidate for President).
One of the network’s favorite targets has always been “liberal” Hollywood and how they want to impose their debauched lifestyles and depraved beliefs on the fragile young mindsets of young Americans and lay waste to traditional family values in an apocalyptic fire of legalized abortion and medicinal marijuana [...]

Watch Now: Volkswagen’s Little Darth Vader ‘Star Wars’ Super Bowl Commercial Gets A Sequel

We all know the commercial: a little kid dressed as Darth Vader is running around trying to learn the ways of the Force when he unexpectedly starts his parents’ Volkswagen using only his mind powers (watch it here).
It was easily one of the most popular Super Bowl commercials of last year, and could arguably be one of the best Super Bowl commercials of all time, though a long list that would be. Now that very commercial has itself something of a sequel that will air during this year’s big game.
You can see the new commercial below now. [...]

New York’s Flying People Turns Out To Be ‘Chronicle’ Viral Marketing

When passersby in New York City see people flying around the Statue of Liberty, it’s going to get people talking. And talk they did.
As it turns out, the stunt was actually a viral marketing ploy put together by masters of deceptive marketing, Thinkmodo, for the upcoming found footage superhero movie, Chronicle.
Unlike other viral marketing efforts like this (which was also done by Thinkmodo for the movie Limitless) and yet-to-be-determined candidates such as this, it was decided to be open and honest about the flying people because, as Thinkmodo put it, it’s cooler to show how they actually did it than to try and create a hoax. [...]

Watch Now: Brad Pitt Eating…And Eating…And Eating…And Eating…

Julia Roberts smiles. Tom Cruise runs. Brad Pitt…well he eats.
Movieclips has assembled a brief video montage of Pitt enjoying various foodstuffs and libations in movies like Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s trilogy, Johnny Suede, Troy, Burn After Reading, Seven, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Kalifornia, and The Mexican. The most time is given to Meet Joe Black, the movie best known for introducing the Grim Reaper to the joys of peanut butter. Thus a love affair for the ages was set in motion. [...]
