Breaking Bad’s Los Pollos Hermanos Might Become A Reality
Stoogeypedia   |

Breaking Bad Los Pollos Hermanos yellow design

Los Pollos Hermanos, the fictional fried chicken franchise with restaurants up and down the West Coast, most notably in Albuquerque, NM, which really acts as just a front for crystal meth trafficking for criminal kingpin Gus Fring on the program Breaking Bad, just might become a real thing.

Vince Gilligan, the creator and key figure behind the storied program, which ended its run in late Summer of 2013 after a dazzling six seasons, which netted universal acclaim, success, and a cachet of high profile awards, mentioned on Reddit that there was talk of “Los Pollos Hermanos becoming a real restaurant.” He also vaguely added that a businessman had contacted him who had an “interest” in bringing the franchise to reality.

‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Star Jamie Dornan Eats From Life-Sized Christian Grey Cake (Video)
Empress Eve   |

The Graham Norton Show Jamie Dornan Julie Walters, Stephen Mangan Christian Grey cake

Fifty Shades Of Grey actor Jamie Dornan is currently out making the talk show rounds to promote his new film, which opened in theaters this weekend. One of those promotional stops was to The Graham Norton Show last night, where he came face to face with a life-sized cake of his Christian Grey character.

While standing with Norton, British actor Stephen Mangan, and Harry Potter actress Julie Walters, Dornan took a taste from the Christian Grey cake, after Norton quite awkwardly cut slices from the gut area. One of the cake’s creators was in the audience and she revealed a few details about the edible version of the character with “singular tastes” (BDSM, people!).

Watch the videos here below of Dornan on The Graham Norton Show having a taste of the aforementioned cake as well as doing the interview portion of the episode where the host asked the audience if they’ve read Fifty Shades Of Grey.

Bud Light ‘Pac-Man’ Super Bowl Ad Among The Best This Year
Bombardier Jedi   |

Bud Light Pac-Man Super Bowl Ad (2015)

While fans of the Seattle Seahawks lick their wounds and fans of the New England Patriots celebrate accordingly, the rest of the world now debates the important questions about the Super Bowl, such as “Which movie trailer did you like most?” or more importantly, “Which ad was the best?” Because after all, that’s what the non-sportsing types care about.

Ever since Apple’s ’1984′ ad against Big Brother, the stakes go up every year for advertising for the Super Bowl. While this year seemed to be “The Year of Emotional Outcry,” there were still a few spots that went for that “Oh, that’s cool” factor. Some talk on social media is that an early frontrunner for “favorite” is the Bud Light “Pac Man” commercial amongst the more geeky viewers. In it, a patron at a bar who’s “Up For Anything,” is unwittingly turned into the legendary Pac-Man video game icon. The patron then runs around a giant grid avoiding the ghosts just like in the classic arcade game.

Check out the Bud Light “Pac-Man” ad in the video here below.

Black Metal Band Tombs Launch Their Own Beer Containing Notes Of Marijuana
Ides Bergen   |

Tombs Band Photo 2014

It seems that you just can’t really say that your band has “made it” these days until you have your own brand of beer. Bands from across the spectrum of rock from Iron Maiden to Pig Destroyer to AC/DC to Pearl Jam are entering the brewing game these days.

Now comes the news that Brooklyn-based black metal band Tombs has upped the ante by launching an IPA containing “enormous notes of white grape, green pepper, mango, and marijuana.” The beer is being brewed by Tired Hands Brewing Company out of Ardmore, PA, and shares its name with Tombs’ spectacular new album Savage Gold (click here for my review of the record).

Continue below to see how it looks.
