Must Watch: First Videos Using Google Glass Turn Life Into A Video Game
The Movie God   |

Google Glass Image

The first videos using Google Glass, a wearable computer with a head-mounted display being developed by Google’s X Lab, have surfaced.

The videos are simple, but because those testing the product are wearing the eyeglasses-like item and recording hands-free, it makes the videos produced look an awful lot like a first-person video game. With the release of Bethesda game music on iTunes, we inch ever closer to our own modern-day Skyrim adventures.

Continue below to check out what it will look like to record videos using Google Glass.

Check Out ‘Motorheadphones’, Motorhead’s Brand Of Loud Headphones
Empress Eve   |

Motorhead Motorheadphones display

In marketing their new product, headphones called Motörheadphönes, the band Motörhead states, “If it’s too loud, you’re too old.”

As a teen, that was one of the mottos I adopted, as I blasted my heavy metal music as much as I could – the louder the better. I was used to seeing live shows by bands like Motörhead, who’s in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the loudest band. And believe me, they are LOUD.

Motörhead still loves it loud, which is why they’ve expanded their burgeoning enterprise, which includes their own brand of wine, vodka, and glassware, with Motörheadphönes, which are designed to sound both loud and clear.

There will be a Motörheadphönes booth at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas today (January 8) at the CES South Hall at #35801 – and there will be a press conference at 4pm presented by frontman Lemmy Kilmister, who will unveiling this new product for the first time in the United States (it’s already out in Europe).

R2-D2 Turntable

So, I just told you about today being Record Store Day, where a bunch of special vinyl releases are available throughout the world at local record shops.

But in order to actually PLAY a vinyl record, you need a record player – or a turntable.

And wouldn’t it be awesome to have a Star Wars-themed turntable to play all your KISS Destroyer records on? (OK, I need it for all my old KISS albums; maybe you need it for your new limited-edition 7″ Coldplay record.) Anyhow, check to the image above of an R2-D2 Turntable, which is totally awesome.
