Michael Fassbender Assassin's Creed Header Image

Yesterday, we were offered our first official look at Assassin’s Creed, 20th Century Fox’s big screen adaptation of the popular video game of the same name starring Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch. It has been confirmed that the film adaptation would take place in the same universe as the video game, but will be a separate story. Fassbender reunites with his Macbeth director, Justin Kurzel, as well as Macbeth co-star Marion Cotillard.

Since the film is based on the same premise as the video game the film is based on, we will definitely be seeing Lynch as a descendant of a long line of Assassins. And these two new images are a reflection of that. Check out the two new images below.

Michael Fassbender Assassin's Creed Header Image

Films based on video games have had a reputation of not being very good. But when one of those film stars Oscar-nominated Michael Fassbender, it might have a chance of being entertaining. The X-Men actor will star as Callum Lynch in 20th Century Fox’s adaptation of Assassin’s Creed from director Justin Kurzel (Macbeth). While a promotional image was released a few months back (see above), the news that came with it didn’t tell us much other than the fact that the film was about to start shooting.

While this new image is nothing to get excited for either, it does give us a new look at Fassbender and co-star Ariane Labed (Before Midnight). Check it out here below.

‘Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’ Unveiled With Trailer, Gameplay Demo
The Movie God   |

Assassin's Creed Syndicate

Ubisoft has officially unveiled this year’s Assassin’s Creed release, which is titled Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. In addition to a first cinematic trailer, a gameplay demo has also been released online. This isn’t the only game in the franchise this year, either, as the smaller arcade-style Assassin’s Creed Chronicles was announced at the start of April.

As was expected the game is set in London during the Victorian era, in the year 1868. You can play as Jacob Frye, or, in response to some criticism for their lack of an option to play as a female assassin in these games, Jacob’s twin sister Evie.

You can read much more about the game and watch the trailer, gameplay demo, and introduction to Jacob Frye video below.
