Zach Galifianakis‘s Between Two Ferns is his hilarious take on celebrity talk shows that take place on public access television. He’s had stars like Brad Pitt, President Barack Obama, Natalie Portman, Bradley Cooper, Will Ferrell, and Hillary Clinton on his show.

Now it’s time for one of Funny or Die’s funniest bits to go from short video format to a Netflix film. And rather than make that bit with a cinematic feel, there will be an actual narrative woven into it. The stakes are high after one of the celebrities Galifianakis is interviewing is accidentally killed, forcing executives to axe the show. That is, unless, he can produce ten successful episodes before the deadline. Forced to go on the road, the interviewer will do what it takes to save it and restore his reputation. According to new reports, the film, which will stream on Netflix, is already underway. It’s not clear how the film could work since the comedy bit is designed for a short-segment interview format. But we are getting one. More on the report, below.

No matter which side of the political spectrum you are on, it’s always nice to see the U.S. Presidential candidates take a break from all of the seriousness to appear on comedies. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have already been making their late-night talk-show appearances throughout the campaign, but the former stopped by for a visit on Zach Galifianakis‘ Between Two Ferns. This is a pretty significant moment (and by significant moment I mean that for Funny Or Die) as the very informal interview show is finally back after a long hiatus.
