And so it has come to this. Five episodes of “My Roanoke Nightmare”, followed by four of “3 Days in Hell: Return to Roanoke” and for the third time in one season, American Horror Story is throwing a wrench in the spokes of our bike. The Miller family, Matt (Andre Holland) and Shelby (Lily Rabe) are dead. The actors that played them in the TV series, Dominic (Cuba Gooding Jr.) and Audrey (Sarah Paulson) are dead. Everyone is dead”¦ except for Lee Harris (Adina Porter), Matt’s sister. Lee somehow managed to survive the haunted North Carolina estate twice. She is far from being an innocent survivor. She admitted on camera; thought to be her last words, that she did in fact murder her ex-husband, and under possession, she murdered Monet (Angela Bassett) and tried to kill Audrey. Now she joins Lana Winters (Paulson) for a Barbara Walters style TV interview to discuss and reflect on the events she’s been through and witnessed.

On Scream Queens, The CURE Institute is losing its patients (pun intended). Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) is in danger of watching her hospital go up in smoke thanks a killer in a green monster suit who drips ooze. Two weeks ago, poor Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin) saw her chance for love end at the end of the swamp killer’s blade. Chad Radwell (Glen Powell) showed up to fight for Chanel (Emma Roberts) and his panicked friend also met a vicious end. Everyone is on edge and desperation is seeping in”¦ so much so that they even go to the asylum and pay Hester (Lea Michele) a visit. She immediately connects the killings to the hospital murders from 30 years earlier when doctors dumped a body in the swamp and someone returned to wipe out an entire hospital staff.

So it has come to this. The two part season finale of Scream Queens. The Chanels of Kappa spent last week’s episode trying to kill their number one murder suspect, Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis). But she apparently has a knack for survival, even attempted poisoning and freezing. Here’s what we know: 20 years ago a Kappa girl gave birth to twins in a bathtub during a frat party. She bled out, leaving the twins with crazy Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) who raised them to be vengeance seeking killers wearing school mascot Red Devil outfits as their cover. The twins half-sister, Grace (Skyler Samuels) and Dad, Wes (Oliver Hudson) are trying to cope with Gigi’s beheading as well as plenty of other deaths. Grace’s boyfriend Pete (Diego Boneta) is hiding something”¦ other than just a Red Devil costume in his closet. We know one of the Devils was Boone (Nick Jonas) and Gigi was the organizer of the kill spree. With both dead, we are left with one psychopathic Red Devil, presumably a female. Chanel (Emma Roberts)? Chanel #3 or #5 (Billie Lourd or Abigail Breslin)? Maybe someone supposedly dead like Chanel #2 (Ariana Grande). Best thing I can say about Scream Queens; other than that it’s hilarious and off-the-wall crazy, with cool kills and ridiculously quotable dialogue, is that I have NO clue who will be revealed as the killer!

Over its first two weeks, I’d challenge you find a show as flamboyantly off the wall as Scream Queens. Combining the bloodshed of an 80s slasher horror film with the teenage drama of Glee, Scream Queens and its cast throw themselves into the craziness with frenzied rigor, chewing the scenery as it comes. There are the Chanels of Kappa House, led by Emma Roberts who embraces every “bitch queen” cliche and runs with them; the quickly sure of herself Chanel # 5 (Abigail Breslin) and Charles Manson’s illegitimate love child, Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd). Then there is Dean Cathy Munsch, the original Scream Queen herself (Jamie Lee Curtis), who has decided to move into the Kappa House to prevent the Red Devil from continuing to slaughter sorority sisters. And of course… there is Chad Radwell (Glen Powell), the coolest most dreamiest guy on campus who has had his way with the Kappa girls. He is what girls want and guys want to be. And his name is CHAD RADWELL!!! C’mon!
