D23 Expo 2017: Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Come next year, Marvel Studios will be celebrating their tenth anniversary. Quite an achievement for a superhero movie studio owned by Disney. And what better way for them to commemorate such an occasion then to release the ensemble of ensembles, an Avengers film featuring heroes from not only across the globe but from galaxies far away as well. We were at D23 to see the very first look at Avenger: Infinity War, and as you can imagine, there was a lot to take in and a lot to get excited over. Marvel Studios Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther

Marvel fans are about to get a double dose of MCU in the coming weeks. First, there’s the D23 Expo, which will be followed by the San Diego Comic-Con next week. So it remains to be seen if they will recycle footage, but considering that next week also happens to be Marvel’s 10th anniversary at SDCC, odds are there will be something special happening to commemorate the event.

So while we wait and see what that is, some new Black Panther coverage has dropped, and it hints at the political instability that is happening at Wakanda since T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) has returned from the events of Captain America: Civil War. Earlier today, Marvel Studios released the first teaser poster for Black Panther ahead of the film’s first teaser trailer, which aired on television tonight during the NBA Finals.

The teaser trailer is now online — watch it here below!

The film will see Chadwick Boseman reprise his role from Marvel’s 2016 superhero ensemble blockbuster Captain America: Civil War.

First ‘Black Panther’ Poster Released; Teaser Trailer To Air During NBA Finals

Marvel Studios has just dropped the first teaser poster for Ryan Coogler‘s (Creed) Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman, who reprises the titular character which debuted in Captain America: Civil War. Check out the poster here below.

Based on previous reports, the film will have a Game of Thrones-esque story that will see our hero battling to keep the throne of Wakanda.

Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ Cast Announced As Film Heads Into Production

Marvel has just released the full cast for Black Panther, the newest chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Reprising his role as the title character is Chadwick Boseman, who was first introduced to us in Captain America: Civil War. He joins previously confirmed actors Michael B. Jordan as the evil Erik Killmonger; Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira as Nakia and Okoyo, respectively, both of whom are members of the Dora Milaje; Martin Freeman, who will be reprising his role as Everett Ross; Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi; Florence Kasumba as Ayo, whom we first saw in Civil War; Angela Bassett as Ramonda, T’Challa’s mother; and Forest Whitaker as Zuri, an adviser to T’Challa.

It’s almost as if the cast of Marvel’s Black Panther is too good to be true. Then there’s a report that says not only is it true, it’s getting better as we speak. Wakanda could be facing a lot more trouble now that the evil Man-Ape will be joining the Ryan Coogler-directed Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman as the title character.

According to new reports, Person of Interest star Winston Duke will play the key role of M’Baku — aka Man-Ape, a frequent villain to Black Panther. He will be joining the growing list of villains who set on seeing T’Challa fall from his throne. More on the story below.
