The Movie God   |

Fallout Shelter

Back when we were all anxiously awaiting an in-depth look at Fallout 4 at Bethesda Game Studios’ E3 2015 presentation, Bethesda’s Todd Howard dropped a little surprise on everyone: they had been also working on a mobile game set in the same universe titled Fallout Shelter, and it was going to be released that very same night.

The game was released for iOS, Android, and PC, and did pretty darn good. Now the game is available to even more people with its release today on Microsoft’s Xbox One and Windows 10. And yes, just like the previous release, it is free to play.

Continue below for more and to watch a trailer.

Trailer For Final ‘Fallout 4’ DLC “Nuka-World”
The Movie God   |

Fallout 4 "Nuka-World" DLC Trailer

Bethesda has released the official trailer for “Nuka-World,” the sixth and final DLC add-on being released for Fallout 4.

As we saw teased at E3 2016, “Nuka-World” is set at a nightmarish Nuka-Cola theme park that’s been taken over by raider gangs, feral ghouls, and various other nasties. But never fear—despite the nuclear apocalypse there’s still plenty of rides and games to enjoy in between trying not die!

You can watch the trailer for the final Fallout 4 DLC below.

Doom Deliveries: ‘Fallout 4’ Special Edition Vinyl Soundtrack
The Movie God   |

Fallout 4 Garage Lithograph Segment

I don’t think I’ve listened to a record since rocking out to The Bangles’ “Walk Like an Egyptian” 45 when I was a tiny tyke back in the ’80s. Hey, it’s a fun song when you’re a kid! Don’t judge. After that people moved on to cassettes and CDs and so on. Though there has been a resurgence in record popularity in the past decade or so.

Despite not listening to records for a while, I was excited to receive the Fallout 4 Special Edition Vinyl Soundtrack. As I mentioned in my review of the game, I love composer Inon Zur‘s score. It’s not easy to come up with music you can listen to over and over while playing a game without getting sick of it, and he does it really well. So owning some of that music on this unique vinyl edition from SpaceLab9 is pretty awesome. Read more about it and where you can grab a copy below.

Rick and Morty Re-Created in Fallout 4 Part 2

Early last month we saw a cool video of some of the best scenes from season one of the hit Adult Swim animated comedy Rick and Morty re-created in Bethesda’s Fallout 4 using mods.

If you were a fan of that video, you didn’t have to wait long for a sequel. YouTube channel UpIsNotJump is back with a follow-up video, recreating some of the best scenes from Rick and Morty season two.

E3 2016: ‘Skyrim’ Remastered Confirmed; More ‘Fallout 4’ DLC Announced
The Movie God   |

Skyrim Special Edition

One of the announcements that was rumored for Bethesda Softworks’ E3 2016 presentation was a remastered version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. That rumor has indeed been confirmed in a video, which shows the game as it looked on the previous generation of consoles and how shiny new and pretty the Skyrim Special Edition looks remastered on current consoles. The video also confirms that, like Fallout 4, this new console version of Skyrim will have mods. The Special Edition will also be released on PC as well, so this is not just about giving console players an updated version of the game.

Speaking of Fallout, before the Skyrim announcement the rest of Fallout 4‘s DLC was announced, including one add-on that will let you build your own vault and basically re-create Fallout Shelter in the game and also one last big one that involves a Nuka-Cola theme park!

You can check all of this out in the video below.

“Far Harbor”: Massive New ‘Fallout 4’ DLC Available Today
The Movie God   |

Fallout 4 DLC "Far Harbor"

The third DLC add-on for Fallout 4, titled “Far Harbor,” is available to download today. It’s the last of the previously announced first three add-ons, with “Automatron” and “Wasteland Workshop” coming before it. More DLC will be announced in the future.

While the first two were fairly small, this latest DLC is quite massive. In fact, it’s the biggest landmass Bethesda has created for an add-on. You can read more info on the new DLC and watch both a trailer and a making of video below.

How To Make Your Own ‘Fallout’ Pip-Boy and Elder Scroll Replicas (Videos)
The Movie God   |

Fallout 4 Pip-Boy

The do it yourself prop crafting tutorial YouTube series DIY Prop Shop is always a fun place to find low-budget ideas for creating replicas of your favorite geeky goodies such as the flux capacitor and hoverboard from Back to the Future, the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis from Evil Dead, and Captain Mal’s gun from Firefly, just to name a few.

But if you’re a fan of the games of Bethesda Game Studios, their recent videos will be of great interest to you. Not only have they released a video showing how you can make your very own Elder Scroll from the Elders Scrolls series, but also a video on how to make an impressive Pip-Boy replica from the Fallout universe. Fair warning: these are by no means easy things to pull off, but if you have the time, patience, and some crafting skills, they’re definitely doable!

You can check out both videos below.

‘Fallout 4’ PC Mods and Creation Kit Trailer Released
The Movie God   |

Fallout 4 Horse Armor Mod

As if Fallout 4 coming wasn’t exciting enough at the end of last year, it was coming with a very intriguing promise attached to it: not only would there be the mods PC players add to their games created by users to do everything from enhance the game aesthetically, offer entirely new DLC-like locations and quests, or just turn your game into a completely bonkers experience, but there would also be mods available for console players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The game has been out for a while now, and we’ve already seen two DLC releases arrive, but now it’s time for the mods to take over. Bethesda has released a video and details for the Fallout 4 mods and Creation Kit, which is now in open beta for PC gamers (and, as you can see in the image above, apparently includes its own version of the infamous Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion horse armor). They’ve also revealed release windows for Xbox One and PS4 mods. You can find all below.
