Must Watch: Trailer For Stop-Motion Movie ‘Kubo and The Two Strings’
We’ve seen a few really gorgeous stop-motion films come out of LAIKA Entertainment, including Coraline, ParaNorman, and The Boxtrolls. With their latest effort, Kubo and the Two Strings, they most certainly appear to be continuing that trend after watching the new trailer for the movie, which mixes both awesome visuals and an epic instrumental cover of The Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.”
The movie stars Game of Thrones actor Art Parkinson (who plays Rickon on the HBO series—which is pretty cool as his TV big brother, Bran actor Isaac Hempstead Wright, starred in LAIKA’s The Boxtrolls) in the role of Kubo. Joining him on the cast is Charlize Theron, Matthew McConaughey, Ralph Fiennes, Rooney Mara, George Takei, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, and Brenda Vaccaro.

George Takei Plays Video Games For First Time With Felicia Day (Video)
As it turns out, Star Trek legend George Takei has never played a video game in his entire 76 years of life on this planet of ours. Not until now, that is.
Takei was a guest on Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog star Felicia Day‘s YouTube series “Co-Optitude,” where she usually plays retro games with her brother. Day was first a guest on Takei’s YouTube show “Takei’s Take” where they talked gaming, which led to the discovery that he’s never played a game before and his joining her for some Mario Party 4 action on GameCube.
You can check out the video of George Takei’s first gaming experience below.
