Last week on Gotham, Penguin and Ivy (Robin Lord Taylor, Maggie Geha) recruited some freaks. Bruce 2 (David Mazouz) confessed to Selina (Camren Bicondova) who he really was. She threatened to go to Alfred (Sean Pertwee), so he pushed her out a window. Kathryn (Leslie Hendrix) told Jim (Ben McKenzie) to deliver Nygma (Cory Michael Smith), who threatened to out the Court of Owls. He delivered. Jim was inducted into the Court of Owls.

‘Gotham’ and ‘The Last Man On Earth’ Renewed For Their 4th Seasons by FOX!

Good news, Gothamites! We will be getting more Batman fever, along with some more wacky apocalyptic shenanigans next season. FOX announced yesterday that two of their highly acclaimed shows, Gotham and The Last Man On Earth have been renewed for the 2017-2018 television season.

Last week on Gotham, the Court of Owls voted to “cleanse” Gotham. Uncle Frank (James Remar) warned Jim (Ben McKenzie) before killing himself to push Jim forward in the Court’s eyes. He met with them. He also asked Barbara (Erin Richards) for help about the shipment on Dock 9C. A ninja sliced her men to protect it. Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) acted like a jerk to Ivy (Maggie Geha), who saved him despite that, when he put his trust in the wrong person. She suggested he form a team of “freaks” like them. The shaman opened Bruce’s (David Mazouz) mind and brought him back to the day his parents were killed. He told him he was important to Gotham.

Last week on Gotham, Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) searched for a new Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), and killed as each genius failed. He took drugs to see a Penguin hallucination. Finally realizing he needed a nemesis, he sent a message to the GCPD to smoke out Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie), and got Lucius Fox (Chris Chalk) instead. He held Harvey (Donal Logue) hostage, but Fox saved him. Uncle Frank (James Remar) tried to convince Jim to join the Court of Owls to take it down from the inside. The Court replaced Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) with his doppelgänger. Poison Ivy (Maggie Geha) saved Penguin from the river, who vowed revenge.

He went after Bruce (David Mazouz), taking him to a bloody carnival. Bruce managed to get in a bunch of punches, and then Jim (Ben McKenzie) punched his face off, literally. Bruce vowed, “I will not kill,” because he’s Batman. Jim’s Uncle Frank (James Remar) was in the Court of Owls, who were training the doppelgänger. After toying with his love the entire episode, Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) shot Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and pushed him into the harbor.

Barbara and Tabitha (Erin Richards, Jessica Lucas) took out the rest of the heads of the families, as they went further in their “Operation Destroy Penguin” (Robin Lord Taylor) plan. Selina’s mom betrayed her, and she and Bruce (Camren Bicondova, David Mazouz) are on the outs because he knew it. Jerome went on TV and urged everyone to commit crimes. The lights went out in Gotham, as Jim (Ben McKenzie) watched, horrified.

Ed, Barbara, and Tabitha (Cory Michael Smith, Erin Richards, Jessica Lucas) went forward with the plan to destroy Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), with visions of his dead father, causing him to kill a staff member. Selina (Camren Bicondova) and her mom reunited. Lee (Morena Baccharin) made Falcone call off the hit.

Barbara told Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) of Penguin’s (Robin Lord Taylor) murder motive, so he went to her, Butch, and Tabitha (Erin Richards, Drew Powell, Jessica Lucas) to team up against Penguin (after apologizing for the maiming of course). Selina’s mom showed up in time to save her, Bruce and Alfred (David Mazouz, Sean Pertwee) from a sticky and dire situation.

Nygma (Cory Michael Smith), convinced that Butch (Drew Powell) had Isabella (Chelsea Spack) killed, gave Tabitha (Jessica Lucas) an impossible choice: lose her hand or let Butch die. Butch gave a sweet speech and she sacrificed her hand. Nygma realized too late that he had the wrong guy. Barbara (Erin Richards) figured out the real culprit.

When that didn’t work, he tried to frame him for a murder. When that didn’t work he tried to kill him, but Bullock (Donal Logue) got to him just in time, thanks to Lee (Morena Baccharin). Bruce, Ivy, and Selina (David Mazouz, Maggie Geha, Camren Bicondova) get caught up in something quite deadly. Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) thought he knew who killed Isabella (Chelsea Spack).
