Jersey Shore Image

There’s an ocean of “reality” TV shows out there so bad they’ll cause your jaw to fall clean off your face as your eyeballs melt under the heat of your overheating brain. And the king of these exceptionally stupid shows for a long while now was undoubtedly MTV’s Jersey Shore.

The word “was” is used there with a great amount of pleasure.

It’s being reported that MTV has decided to finally do us all an incredible favor (including you fans of the show; you’ll one day appreciate the removal of this unhealthy growth from your lives) and cancel Jersey Shore.

Watch Now: ‘Jersey Shore Shark Attack’ Trailer – This You Must See

Jersey Shore Shark Attack

I used to love the Sci-Fi Channel before it turned to the dark side forever when it was renamed SyFy and devoted the vast majority of its airtime to turgid reality programming and cheesy “original” movies like Dinocroc and Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus. The network became more of a machine, twisted… AND EVIL! But every so often one of those made-for-SyFy flicks delivers some first-rate entertainment on the order of the best in modern bad cinema. It looks like the network’s latest killer fish offering Jersey Shore Shark Attack will be continuing that fine tradition in grand style.

You can watch the movie’s trailer here below.

Directed and written by a bunch of folks you couldn’t care less about, Jersey Shore Shark Attack is partially based on a real-life series of shark attacks that plagued New Jersey’s scenic coast in 1916, but only uses that history as a garnish for the movie’s main attraction – namely, dollar bin CGI sharks hungering for the spray-tanned flesh of Jagermeister-soaked guidos and guidettes. The shark of the title looks more like the monster from Troma’s Killer Condom if it were enlarged and rendered with the kind of computerized visual effects that would be too primitive for a Super Nintendo video game cut scene circa 1994.

South Park Jersey Shore

Fans of the unwatchable abomination that is MTV’s (inexplicably) hit show, Jersey Shore, might not know this, but there were plenty of others who sent in audition tapes to be part of the show.

Unfortunately for those of us who can’t stomach more than a few minutes of the show, these applicants weren’t cast on the show, but their audition tapes have now leaked.

You can see the video of these auditions below now!

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, Beavis and Butt–Head are back, and they may just be better than ever before. A panel was held at the 2011 San Diego Comic–Con for the return of the MTV series, which was moderated by Jackass star Johnny Knoxville and featured creator Mike Judge.

Attendees of the panel were treated to some clips from the show’s return, which will premiere this fall. The first clip showed the duo deciding that they needed to become vampires and werewolves in order to score some chicks after they saw Twilight. Also shown were bits from an episode called “Holy Cornholio,” which shouldn’t need much description for fans of the show to know exactly what to expect in said episode.

Now you can see almost five minutes worth of clips from the Cornholio episode courtesy of MTV by clicking on over to the other side now!

‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Ruins Oscar Nominees On ‘Lopez Tonight’

Jersey Shore

What’s the worst possible thing you could think of happening to your favorite Best Picture nominees for this upcoming weekend’s 82nd annual Academy Awards ceremony? For me, the thought of the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore spoofing them would be pretty high up on that list.

Many Oscar ceremonies over the years have featured spoofs of the nominated films — the most famous of such were presented by Billy Crystal during his many brilliant hosting gigs. Well, apparently someone thought that these kids from Jersey Shore could bring some similar laughs to the table with their own spoofs, and a handful of them were recording for use on George Lopez’s Lopez Tonight show on TBS.

Click on over to the other side to watch a couple of these parodies…if you dare. Included below you’ll find The Hurt Locker and Inglourious Basterds, but you can also head over to TBS’s YouTube page for a second Basterds and Avatar.
