The universe’s most powerful weapon must be brought down! But how can the devastating X-O Manowar be defeated? The time-displaced keeper of the X-O Manowar armor has declared Romania his kingdom, but the world isn’t going to let this invasion happen without a fight. As the Russians plan for a nuclear attack, the world’s most dangerous man, Toyo Harada puts together a ruthless team to take out the armor in Unity #1.

I am exhausted with massive crossover events in comics. Occasionally they deliver on their promises to be a game-changing event with spectacular storytelling, but most often they end up resetting the status quo of all the characters and telling a mediocre story.

Each and every week “Any Way You Want It” MK2Fac3 and “Don’t Stop Believin'” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of August 1, 2012. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

Okay, I don’t have time to write much this week, but I’ll give you a rundown on a few comics that you should check out today. No time today for trades or love, Dr. Jones. Also, most of the trades out today are kind of boring. Go back and pick up the newest Darwyn Cooke Parker book if you haven’t already. All right? Let’s do this GoD List thing.

Each and every week “Easy Peasy” MK2Fac3 and “Livin’ Greasy” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of April 18, 2012. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

Man, comics are pretty expensive, huh? I’m sitting here looking at my pull list this week, and I’m not seeing a lot of books that fall under the price of three dollars. See, while comics for the most part are less than a gallon of gasoline in some regions, others are more, which is just flat out insane. So, when we’re stuck in an economy such as this, with an unemployment rate as high as it, we need an escape. And if you’re reading this, I’m assuming that you’re escape is the same as ours, comic books. Comic books get a lot of flack for a lot of different reasons, but there’s something about even the super hero books that everyone complains about that offer something that no other form of entertainment offers. So, it’s with this idea that we present The GoD List, a list full of comics that we are looking forward to that should help you, if not solve these real-life situation, then at least provide away to temporarily relieve them by letting you know what’s worth your time and why.

Well, well, well! Look whose birthday it is this Saturday! That’s right, it’s not Henchman21’s birthday, it’s MY birthday! Or if you speak dubstep, that’s, “errr i-i-i-i whooom bip bip bip bip wum wum wum beep beep beep whoomp!” There are a lot of great things about my birthday, first thing that comes to mind is that the world celebrates the day that their hero was born unto the Earth. The second being that I celebrate really simply with things like comics! Yes, that’s right, comics! Comics are rad, right? Certainly on par with the radness of professional wrestling, that’s for sure. And really, is there anything radder than comics or professional wrestling? Let me go ahead and answer that for you. No, there’s not. So, don’t get those facts twisted inside your head. Right! So, comics are really awesome and there are awesome comics coming out TODAY, so why don’t you read this, what we like to call The GoD List, and pick up all of these fine comics from your local comic shop OR on a digital format like Comixology? There’s not a single reason for you not to, so go ahead and do it! For me? Thanks! Also, thanks in advance for getting me things.
