DC Universe will be an online hub for all things DC Comics. Not only is it a place to access classic shows and read some great comics books, it will also be a place for original content like Titans. The show based on the younger heroes of DC Comics will see Robin (Brenton Thwaites) bring a group of superpowered beings like Raven (Teagan Croft), Starfire (Anna Diop), and Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) to become a new group of defenders. While reactions have been mixed, DC Universe has ordered a second season of the show right before the first one is supposed to air. Which is an extremely high vote of confidence. More on this, plus a new trailer here below.

Titans Header

The DC Universe has dropped their first trailer for the live-action Titans, and it’s something. Unlike the sunny and comical Teen Titans we’ve seen on Cartoon Network, this is a complete departure from all of that. It’s looks darker, grittier, and Robin has a choice word about his former mentor Batman. A four letter choice word to be precise.

Check out the first trailer for Titans, along with how much the DC Universe streaming service will cost, below.

Big Hero 6 voice talent Ryan Potter and Daniel Henney

The Academy Award-winning film Big Hero 6 is out now on Digital HD, as well as Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack. The film was a box office smash, albeit not nearly as successful as Frozen, but still enough of a success to earn itself Golden Globes, Annie Awards, and most recently, an Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

We were recently invited to the press day for the Big Hero 6 home entertainment release, and got a chance to interview Ryan Potter (voice of Hiro Hamada) and Daniel Henney (voice of Tadashi Hamada). In our interview, we talked about the long hours in the recording booth, improv, talking to fans of the film, the merchandise, and more. Hit the jump to read the full interview.

Big Hero 6 Character Header Image

Moderator Chris Hardwick introduced the panel for Disney’s upcoming Big Hero 6, their first animated feature based on Marvel Comics characters.

First up were directors Chris Williams and Don Hall, as well as producer Roy Conli. They started working on it and pitched it three years ago, right around the time of New York Comic-Con.

A clip is then shown. Set in San Fransokyo, a slightly futuristic city with a real feel to it, we find young genius Hiro not using his gifts in good ways. His brother, Tadashi, hoping to set him on a better path, lures him to his university lab. “Welcome to the Nerd Lab.” It is there that he is introduced to Baymax, a robotic healthcare companion (kinda resembles the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man), and the other nerds: Honey Lemon, Go-Go, Wasabi (“I spilled Wasabi on my shirt one time people!”), and Fred (who’s not really a student there, just a part-time mascot who thinks science is cool).
