E3 2017: ‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ VR Trailer
The Movie God   |

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR Trailer

During Bethesda’s E3 2017 showcase, they shared trailers for a pair of upcoming virtual reality titles, Fallout 4 VR and DOOM VFR. Some were hoping that this meant we might also see a VR experience for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as well, but nothing was said about it at the time.

As it turned out, the trailer for a Skyrim VR experience was simply being saved for a little bit later. It was shown during Sony’s PlayStation presentation earlier this week, because the game is being released on PlayStation VR. Continue below to read more about the game and to check out the trailer if you haven’t seen it.

How Sneaking In ‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ Really Works (Video)
The Movie God   |

Sneaking In Skyrim

I’m among the many who adore Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, but let’s be perfectly honest: the AI characters and enemies are not exactly known for being smart when it comes to what’s actually going on around them. And that’s fine, for me anyway. You can develop a stealthy character if you choose but it’s not a stealth game, so I can accept the AI’s questionable eyes.

Still, it’s funny to mess with things like this sometimes. One of the very first videos I watched when The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released back in 2011 messed with the AI a bit. That only made me want to play the game even more. Now YouTube channel Nukazooka has made a video having some fun with how sneaking works in Skyrim, which can be seen below, and fans of the game will no doubt get a chuckle out of it.

Full Details On Getting Your Own House In ‘The Elder Scrolls Online’
The Movie God   |

The Elder Scrolls Online Homestead

Being able to join up with friends and other fans of The Elder Scrolls series to run around the world of Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online is lots of fun. For most, anyway. That said, sometimes you just need a nice, quiet place to escape the many other players and do private stuff, like counting how many loaves of bread and stews you’ve collected on your adventures!

But the game doesn’t really have that. It does have places you can go to get away from other players, but nowhere to call your very own. That’s about to change. Soon a free update to the game will introduce housing, which will allow you to buy your own living spaces and even go crazy decorating them to make them unique.

You can get full details on how all of this will work and see a video of the housing update in action below.

Bethesda Explains Why We’re Not Getting ‘Morrowind,’ ‘Oblivion’ Remasters
The Movie God   |

Oblivion Gate

It was revealed at E3 2016 that a remastered version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was on the way this fall.

But, while this news was exciting, many fans of The Elder Scrolls games wondered why Bethesda didn’t remaster some of the older games in the series, such as Morrowind and Oblivion, first. There is a reason for this, and Bethesda VP of marketing Pete Hines shared what it is.
