Ranking The Best and Worst Of The Marvel Cinematic Universe
eelyajekiM   |

Marvel Cinematic Universe Rankings

Not all Marvel Cinematic Universe films are built the same, but they are all pieces of a larger puzzle. Each one of them serves some sort of purpose to tell its own story while also moving the universe towards a certain direction. So with each and every new installment comes new praises and criticisms.

While it is easy to say that every new Marvel Studios film is better than the last, the truth is, they are not. Some are better than others. With Spider-Man: Homecoming hitting theaters this weekend, I decided to rank all 16 MCU films that have been released, from worst to the best.

Rumor: How Hulk Joins Thor On Cosmic Journey In ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
eelyajekiM   |

Hulk vs Thor

Remember how there was a rumor that said that Hulk would be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and that the plot of the film would be based on the “Planet Hulk” story arc? Well, James Gunn repeatedly denied those rumors, which were pretty much debunked when Mark Ruffalo signed on to join Chris Hemsworth in Thor: Ragnarok, the final film of the titular trilogy. In what has been described as a buddy film which would feature the two Avengers who go on a cosmic journey, there were questions on how Hulk would actually meet up with the god of thunder considering that he left the Avengers after the events of Age of Ultron.

It appears that there may be an answer to that question, which leads us back to how Marvel would incorporate a “Planet Hulk” story arc into the MCU. We have to stress that the following should be considered a rumor, and we are going to treat it as such until we get something substantial from a confirmed source.

Again, if you are interested in spoilers, then feel free to check out more about this rumor below.

The Real Reason A New Solo ‘Hulk’ Movie Hasn’t Been Made By Marvel
eelyajekiM   |

Avengers: Age of Ultron Hulk Character Poster Header

The Hulk was thrust into the Marvel Cinematic Universe back in 2008 when Tony Stark made a cameo appearance at the end of The Incredible Hulk. By that time we were slowly learning that Marvel was building up to The Avengers. However, since the film’s release we have yet to hear news on a solo Hulk film. We’ve heard many rumors throughout the since the release of The Avengers, one of the biggest ones being that the “Planet Hulk” storyline would be the premise of the film. And now we are finally learning why we haven’t seen a solo Hulk film despite the success of the MCU and fan requests.

Simply enough, the film rights are still over at Universal. This perhaps may explain a few things like why Betty Ross’s name is never mentioned in the first and (minor spoiler) second Avengers. Hit the jump for more.

Marvel's Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr.

Though rumors of a new Incredible Hulk solo film have surfaced before, none have come to pass. And now that Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is near completion, and the film slate for Phase Three was announced a few months back, it’s hard to believe we will ever get one. But Mark Ruffalo believes that there may be a chance for one to happen.

In a recent interview, Ruffalo talked about how the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron could eventually lead to a solo Hulk movie. Hit the jump to see what he had to say.

Marvel Studios Reportedly Has Big Plans For The Hulk In Phase Three
eelyajekiM   |

Hulk Header Image

The Incredible Hulk solo films have been proven difficult to adapt. Two movies already in the books, and none of them have given Marvel the confidence to move forward with another sequel. The character has proven his mettle in team efforts though, with fans expressing interest in seeing more of the Hulk after a wonderful display of smashing in The Avengers. But we haven’t seen much of the character in Phase 2, and with Phase 3 continuing right after Avengers: Age of Ultron, what we can expect to see from the Hulk is still very much in the air.

We’ve heard rumblings of a Hulk solo film happening in Phase 3, most of them being shot down almost immediately after they surface. But a new report indicates that a Hulk solo movie is in the works. Hit the jump to see where Marvel Studios expects to take the Hulk.

Superman Vs. Hulk: The Fight Part 3 (Video)
Maximus Prime   |

Hulk Superman Created By Michael Habjan

Back in November, I presented a couple of videos (be sure to watch these first if you haven’t seen them) that offered a fairly convincing CGI look into the age old question: who would win in a fight, Superman or The Incredible Hulk? Well, the creator of those short clips, Michael Habjan, has recently released a third installment of the battle between the two powerhouses; and let me tell you, this new clip looks unbelievable.

Habjan impressed me with the first two videos in his realistic, graphic battle to end all battles, but this one beats its predecessors senseless. The action is superb and Superman’s likeness to the late Christopher Reeve is uncanny. I sure hope part four isn’t too far away.

Check out the video below and sound off on who you expect to come out on top!

Superman vs. Hulk

It’s something we’ve all wondered about at some point or another: Who would win in a fight, Superman or The Incredible Hulk?

We all have our theories and the outcome could surely be argued forever until a definitive answer is given; however, thanks to one incredible CGI filmmaker by the name of Michael Habjan, we have a very convincing look at what a battle between the two powerhouses might actually look like.

Check out here below the first three parts in the epic clash of Superman vs. Hulk: The Fight — it just may be new to you!
