Walden Media has released the theatrical trailer for their upcoming 3D adventure Journey To The Center of the Earth, the film adaptation of the classic Jules Vern novel, which stars Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson, and Anita Briem.
Also, we found a new poster for the film at the New York Comic Con, where there will be a panel on Sunday for Journey, which will include star Brendan Fraser, director Eric Brevig, and producor Charlotte Huggins. From what I can tell, it’s a NYCC-specific promo, not an official movie one-sheet.
Check out a scan of the new poster at right and click for larger view; the official synopsis of the film is below.
Journey To The Center of the Earth hits theaters July 11, 2008.
Synopsis
An exciting adventure based on the classic Jules Verne novel Journey to the Center of the Earth, Journey To The Center of the Earth 3D stars Brendan Fraser as a science professor whose untraditional hypotheses have made him the laughing stock of the academic community. But on an expedition in Iceland, he and his nephew stumble upon a major discovery that launches them on a thrilling journey deep beneath the Earth’s surface, where they travel through never-before-seen worlds and encounter a variety of unusual creatures.
Check out Brendan! Lookin’ like Die Hard-era Bruce Willis!
