A new video interview with the cast and director of The Dark Knight is now online.
Watch the 4-minute here below.
Matt McDaniel from the Yahoo! Movies crew sat down with the film’s cast members as well as with director Christopher Nolan to talk about The Dark Knight.
The video begins with star Christian Bale, who returns to the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, in the Batman Begins sequel, talking about his daring scene atop America’s tallest building, Chicago’s Sears Tower.
How often am I going to get the opportunity to stand 110 stories up looking over Chicago? Not often, you know, with a chopter a few feet over my head. These are wonderful experiences I get to have through being in movies.
Nolan remarks that he thought Bale was crazy to do the scene, but was happy to have him to do. He also explains a bit about how Bale does Batman.
I think what Christian does with Batman is makes him very human, very real and doesn’t allow him to become just an icon.
The cast — Bale, along with Gary Oldman (Jim Gordon), Aaron Eckhart (Harvey Dent/Two-Face), and Maggie Gyllenhaal (Rachel Dawes) — also talk about Heath Ledger‘s performance as The Joker.
