We’ve seen a teaser trailer and seen all sorts of leaked pictures, but here is the first official look at some of the faces of J.J. Abrams‘ Star Trek XI in this poster that was released as part of EW‘s Comic Con preview.
Check out the poster at right (larger view is below).
Apparently, this poster will be divided into four character posters and will be available exclusively to the Con attendees next weekend (to make up for Paramount’s absence?). One poster per person; so if you’d like to get the whole set… too bad! Onward to eBay you go.
Check out the four individual posters below via TrekMovie.com.
Also worth note, some observations made by TrekMovie.com — look deep into the eyes of these posters and also, note that the colors match the characters original uniform color.
Posters
Chris Pine as Kirk.

Zachary Quinto as Spock.

Zoe Saldana as Uhura.

Eric Bana as Nero.

The best villian name they could come up with is nero and give him face tats????

Why post those fuzzy scans from TrekMovie when the Official Star Trek Movie site has high-quality wallpapers of these movie posters?
Look in the Downloads section of the official site…

@Nero
The simplest answer to your question is that at the time this article was published, the official site has NOT been updated with the new character images. The versions here were the only ones available.
But I would like to point out that the official site has NOT put up the posters, but have put up wallpaper versions. This is not the same. These posters have the movie’s release date under the character’s faces. The wallpapers– which are a different dimension than the posters — have this info to the side of the images.
Fear not, once we received the info from the official site, we updated about it HERE.
