All this week, Amazon has been offering up five albums per day for only $1.99 each in mp3 format. If you purchase MP3s through Amazon, it downloads into your iTunes account, so it’s as simple as purchasing directly through iTunes. Also, you can now gift these MP3 purchases – just click the “Give album or song as gift” button on the right on the product page.
I can’t imagine that there’s anyone left out there who doesn’t already own this amazing Pink Floyd album, but just in case, now’s the time to get it, as it’s only $2. I can’t stress enough how crazy insane it would be to pass up this deal.
There’s a reason Dark Side of the Moon is one of the best-selling albums of all time: the 1973 release has 9 songs and you’d be hard-pressed to find one even mediocre song, let alone one that’s bad.
If you’re not familiar with the album, and you’re wondering if you’ve ever heard any songs from it, chances are, you have: “Money,” which opens with the sounds a cash register ringing and coins clanking, was its popular single and has been in frequent rotation for decades on classic rock stations.
Note, the deal is supposed to be just for today, though it most likely will last maybe through the weekend. Another album that is only $1.99 this week is John Lennon‘s Power To The People – The Hits, which is still on sale. It has 15 of Lennon’s solo hits, like “Imagine,” “Instant Karma,” and “Woman.”
Here’s today’s main MP3 album Sale Page if you want to see what other albums are only $1.99 today.
