68th Annual Golden Globe Award Nominations Released

The Movie God   |  @   |

Oh yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is indeed that time of year again already.

The nominations for the 68th annual Golden Globe awards have been revealed to the world in a press release from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

The Globes have developed a reputation for glorifying the major stars and titles of Hollywood, and as you’ll see (Alice in Wonderland? Huh?), this is still fairly accurate. Still, you’ll surely find plenty to like about this year’s nominees to go along with any quarrels.

Be sure to click on over to the other side right away to take a look at the full list of nominees for this year’s Golden Globe awards.

The only thing really jumping out to me is the lack of True Grit. I’ve heard nothing but gushing praise for the movie, and the Coen brothers are perennial nominees of the various larger awards ceremonies. It will be interesting to see how these compare to the upcoming Academy Award nominees.

Share your thoughts on the nominees and who you think might have been snubbed this year in the comments below!

  1. As expected, just a list of mediocre garbage.
