One of my favorite episodes of TV of all time, “In Excelsis Deo” is beautifully scripted by Aaron Sorkin and Rick Cleveland and expertly directed by Alex Graves. Just as a bit of backstory on this episode, this episode won an Emmy for Best Writing in a Drama Series and Richard Schiff the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. I don’t want to give too much away about the episode outside of the official description, but know this episode is powerful and emotionally riveting. A must watch.
