Though “Bartlet for America” takes place during the third season of The West Wing, the episode is primarily composed of flashbacks focusing on the history behind Senator Bartlet’s decision to run for President, which is incredibly moving, engaging, and interesting. The episode contains the usual brilliant Sorkin charm and is expertly shot. Another outstanding Christmas episode of The West Wing.
