Fans of the Vertigo series 100 Bullets will be pleased to learn that the creative team behind that book, Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso are teaming up again for a new series coming from Vertigo comics this year. The series will be titled Spaceman, and that’s about all we know at this point.

While details may be in short order at this point, the creative team alone has me excited to read this. 100 Bullets is a great series (especially at the start, the series does get a little confusing in the middle) and Azzarello and Risso have teamed up on other projects (Batman: Broken City, Wednesday Comics) to decent results, so I have no reason to think this will be bad. I’m sure we’ll learn more about the series as it gets closer to its release, but if we’re lucky we’ll get another great series out of it.
