The mine workers use an avatar system, where they control flesh-grown ‘gangers of themselves. During TARDISblend 27, we review the events of The Rebel Flesh, part one of a two-part adventure written by Matthew Graham. We discuss the cliffhanger at the end of the episode, something that had been ruined and spoiled for some fans by the Daily Mail recently – either way, the ending was a surprise for some, but predictable for others.
We examine the character development of Rory Williams during this episode, as he takes on a more active role in this episode. We also take a look at the Next Time trailer for part two of this adventure, The Almost People, and discuss how this leads directly on to the mid-series finale, A Good Man Goes To War.
