Joss Whedon’s ‘In Your Eyes’ Finds A Director
space
Cinemumra   |

Apparently Joss Whedon is the hardest working man in showbiz.

With both The Avengers and his newly announced Much Ado About Nothing set to hit theaters sometime next year, Whedon’s micro-studio Bellwether Pictures has found a director for his new script, In Your Eyes.

The film will be helmed by Brin Hill, and will follow “two seemingly polar opposites who are deeply connected in ways neither could have ever imagined.” Not much more is known about the project, but it does appear as though Whedon is set to take the film world by storm in 2012.

As a massive admirer of the filmmaker, I couldn’t be more excited by this news. I think Whedon is one of the most inventive writers around, and while I’m not a huge fan of Hill, I do have huge hopes for this film. The project doesn’t have a release date yet, but here’s to hoping that the thing will hit sooner rather than later.
