Remember the Locke & Key Card Game we thought last week looked amazing? Well, it’s now the Deal of the Day today over at Things From Another World, where you can get it for a cool $20! Order Locke & Key: The Game right now to get it at a discount (it usually sells for $30).
Note – The sale at TFAW is valid only for today, Saturday, March 10, 2012, til 11:59PM PST while supplies last (and there’s a limited supply, so it will sell out, so hurry!). Visit the TFAW’s Deal of the Day page to view the hours left in the sale as well as quantities left on the item.
Also, Amazon has it discounted to $18.53 right now, so basically factor in shipping costs at both sites and see which vendor is best for you. Either way, you’ll get it at a great price!
From the product page:
Locke & Key tells the story of Keyhouse, an unlikely New England mansion, home to fantastic doors that transform all who dare to walk through them… and a hate-filled creature that will not rest until it forces open the most terrible door of them all. The Locke & Key Card Game is based on the award-winning comic book series by New York Times bestselling author Joe Hill, with art by Gabriel Rodriguez. Players must overcome challenges and collect the mysterious keys to claim victory! For 3-6 players.
That said, this L&K game is under the same unnecessary umbrella which houses the rereleased special editions of each L&K arc: IDW’s money grab which somehow justifies charging $67-$100 for a leather cover and—the only addition of value—Joe’s scripts.
Just give us the comics, IDW, and quit trying to think of new ways to stretch out the series so you can fill your pockets.
You may have noticed that we're now AD FREE! Please support Geeks of Doom by using the Amazon Affiliate link above. All of our proceeds from the program go toward maintaining this site.
