Geek Peek: Concept Art For The ‘Jurassic Park 4’ That Will Never Be

Jurassic Park 4 Concept Art Header

Sometime in the near (or far) future, we will be getting a Jurassic Park 4. Universal Pictures is very interested in continuing the very successful franchise with another film. But after the third installment didn’t live up to its predecessors, making a fourth seemed a bit questionable. Now leaked concept art might reveal why it may be taking so long for Jurassic Park 4 to come out.

Check out the concept art here below.

The concept art (via Reddit) is quite interesting, revealing a dinosaur human hybrid. These genetically altered beings would have the capabilities of wielding firearms. Gives a whole new meaning to that infamous Jurassic Park quote “Clever girl.” While Universal continues to figure out how to bring Jurassic Park 4 to the big screen, these pieces of art by Carlos Huante reveal some very cool concepts, but one that probably wouldn’t work in a theatrical format.

Honestly, this idea of human dinosaur hybrids is better suited for a TV movie special on Syfy, which I would gladly watch. Maybe it doesn’t even need to be attached to the franchise; maybe it could be something else entirely. Hopefully there is a use for these concepts, because these pieces look great. There is a diverse set of these monstrosities: we have the header concept, a triceratops with thumbs, and a humanoid with a Tyrannosaurus Rex-like head.

It would have been interesting to see these concepts come to life. Alas, based on the rejected script written by John Sayles, it’s not going to happen.

  3. Reminds me of a disgusting version of one of my character’s changed forms that I have up on deviantArt. Werewolf as well as dinosaurlike humanoids. This shit is everywhere on the internet from furries, to Moe girls w/ animal appendages. This is America, let’s leave the weirdness to the Japanese.

I have to say I hope that this movie never sees the light of day. The splicing animal genes with humans is overrated in my opinion.

I hope the film makers who are thinking of making tis Jurassic Park 4 movie see this I hate it when they milk franchises and they never learn. My god, look at Star Wars that’s a good example right there. MOVIE PEOPLE STOP JUST STOP! Stop fucking up good movies with retarded prequels like *koff*Men in Black II!!*koff*

If you must do a JP4 THEN STICK TO THE DAMN ORIGINAL CONCEPT!!!
