I just got my advanced review copy of Star Trek: Countdown To Darkness #2, the comic book prequel miniseries to this May’s Star Trek Into Darkness film, so now I’ve got Star Trek on the brain (actually, that’s no different than any other day). Anyhow, while searching around and I found this Star Trek Into Darkness Command T-Shirt from Entertainment Earth!
1) This needs to be mine, and 2) weeeee!!!!!
According to the product page, this long-sleeved black t-shirt is a screen-accurate Command T-shirt based on Star Trek Into Darkness and contains the Starfleet insignia. The price is $29.99 and sizes range from Small to 3XL.
The shirt made its on-screen debut in 2009’s Star Trek when James T. Kirk wore it on an emergency mission while still a Starfleet Academy cadet. Now look who’s wearing this shirt in the sequel – it’s Benedict Cumberbatch, who’s reportedly playing the role of a character named John Harrison, although every Trek fan is speculating he’s actually the famous villain Khan.
Right now, there’s not much available as far as Star Trek Into Darkness merchandise goes, but I did find that the film’s novelization by Alan Dean Foster is available for pre-order (the book’s release date is May 21, 2013). Fear not, though, as I am on the case, keeping my eye out for anything Star Trek Into Darkness related so I can pass it along to you.
Star Trek Into Darkness will be released in conventional and IMAX theaters on May 17, 2013.

Close, but not quite. The necklines are off. The one used on screen has a higher collar then the one being sold.
