I don’t know if you saw my Kickstarter Spotlight a while back but if you didn’t, you really should click on over. My Little Geek is a wonderful fundraiser to produce some really spectacular books and apps. They hit their goal on June 18th and are still looking for a bit more to fund an Android version of their awesome app and some other awesome ideas!
Don’t let this pass you by, these folks have the right idea. There is so much out there that’s generic and teaches kids the plain ABCs and numbers, but this is geared toward children of nerdy parents. Make no mistake, you will love the way they apply geeky terms and knowledge towards toddlers with the express intent of educating them the right way.
So get your nerd on and head over there. The Kickstarter ends on June 25th. Don’t let this one slip by, the more we donate, the more products they can produce and the more young minds they can affect.
There are a lot of great ways to get stuff for yourself, send stuff to a friend, or even to a library of your choice! I cannot stress enough how awesome I find this Kickstarter to be. It really appeals to me as a parent and a geek. So if you haven’t done so already, please go take a look. Time is running out! At the very least, go watch the video…it might just find its way into your heart!
