Under the Skin

Back in 2010 we found out that Scarlett Johansson was set to play an alien disguised as the “perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman” to hunt and feast on humans in a movie titled Under the Skin.

Not much has been heard about the movie since then, but now, with it making its debut on the festival circuit, a first teaser trailer has been released. I could try and describe what you’re about to see…but few words come to mind. NSFW warning is in effect.

So go forth, and see for yourself what Under the Skin looks like.

The movie comes from director Jonathan Glazer, whose previous films include Sexy Beast and Birth.

If her character was supposed to be the “perfect aesthetic form”, then I guess she was miscast.
