Orphan Black, the sci-fi series currently airing in America on BBC America, has quickly gained a loyal fanbase, thanks to its intriguing plot and fantastic acting, but I’m sure fans of the show are always looking for more story.

Well, the folks at IDW are happy to oblige, thanks to the announcement that they are teaming up with series producers temple Street Productions to make an Orphan Black comic book series, set to launch in early 2015.

The comic series will feature all new stories about the mysteries surrounding main character Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany), and the army of biological clones that she is a part of. The television series has just been picked up for a third series that will presumably air in 2015.

There was no creative team listed for the comic series at this point, just a preview by artist Nick Runge below. I’m sure we’ll get more info as we get closer to the series release. Let us know if you’re excited to read an Orphan Black series or if this is the first you’ve ever heard of it.
