Slayer Classic Lineup

SLAYER! What else need be said? Here are the kings of thrash with the opening track of their 1996 watershed release Reign In Blood.

Watch Slayer perform “Angel of Death” here below.

“Angel of Death” is a song that late Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman wrote about human experiments conducted at the Auschwitz concentration camp by Josef Mengele, a monster who was known as “the angel of death” by inmates.

This Thrashback Thursday is dedicated to the memory of Jeff Hanneman.
