Doctor Who TARDISblend Banner

The entire planet has become covered with a continually growing forest, invading cities, deserts, and oceans. The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) accompanied by Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman), Danny Pink (Samuel Anderson), and a group of Coal Hill School kids are lost in the invading forest of London as they try to work out what is happening.

During TARDISblend 81, we send a group message to Tree Facebook and discuss the implications of this latest Doctor Who episode, and debate the possibilities after the preview for the two-part finale of Series 8.

All this and more on the latest TARDISblend!

Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from The BLENDOVER Podcast and The Heavy Metal Historian Podcast) and geek journalist Tom Cheredar of VentureBeat, TARDISblend is a podcast that takes a look at the ongoing adventures in the Doctor Who Universe – as Peter Capaldi makes his beginnings as the next Doctor!

    Hi guys,
Where does the timey wimey go?
So here we are almost at the end of series 8! As you’ll have realise, I’ve reserved judgement til now as this seaon was closer to my heart than previous ones. A Scotsman commenting on a Scotsman, you understand.?
So after a few patchy episodes and a few beauts, I am so looking forward to the two-part finally. I thought that the kids in the TARDIS was fantastic. Keeping them included is so important, and we adults dont to userp their Saturday night completely.
Anyway to get back to the Scotsman. Although he had hard acts to follow, I think Capaldi has most definatly made the role his own. He has created a wonderful version of the character with layers of complexity. A darker, more mysteroius, trippy Doctor bringing back gravitas to the old Gallifrean. So I am hoping that his performance shines over the next couple of weeks bringing us old Whoers to an ultimate climax!!! and then the long wait until Christmas.
Great comments and speculations Greg (some of them quite credible) but you do really need to get out more ;)
Hope eps 11 & 12 live up to your expectations. Stay cool TT
