We saw the other day that there’s a good chance that the teaser trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice would be attached to theatrical screenings of Jupiter Ascending starting February 6, 2015.
Now, a new image reportedly taken as a screen capture from said teaser is online and it would indicate that Zack Snyder’s follow-up to Man Of Steel will actually be split into two films. See below for more details, as well as a look at the screenshot.
According to the screenshot, which at this time is unverified, the film is now in two parts: Batman v Superman: Enter The Knight, to hit theaters October 15, 2015; and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on its currently scheduled release date of March 25, 2016.

Remember, this is just rumor at this time and the screenshot could just be doctored up. But, this wouldn’t be the first time an anticipated blockbuster was cut into two — it happened with the second film of Peter Jackson’s Hobbit franchise and with the final films of the Twilight and The Hunger Games film adaptations, and it’s going to happen with Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War. Batman v Superman wrapped production in late 2014, so that leaves enough time to edit the footage into a first part to show this October.
We’ll have to wait either for an official announcement from Warner Bros. or that first teaser trailer, which is rumored to NOT be the same teaser those of us at SDCC go to see last summer.
