Star-Lord vs. Captain America TwitterBowl 2015

The New England Patriots won the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks tonight, which also means that Captain America Chris Evans beat Star-Lord Chris Pratt in their TwitterBowl charity wager. The terms were if the Patriots won, Seattle fan Pratt would visit Christopher’s Haven children’s home in Boston, MA as Star-Lord; if the Seahawks won, Patriots fan Evans would visit Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, WA as Captain America.

So, the Patriots win means that Pratt will be visiting Christopher’s Haven as Star-Lord. But, as expected from these two caring gentlemen, not only is Evans planning on donning his Cap attire to join Pratt in Boston, but the two Marvel superhero actors will also be going together to Seattle Children’s Hospital!

Evans posted the heartwarming news to Twitter after the Super Bowl, thanking his buddy Chris Pratt for being a good sport throughout their sports rivalry this month. Pratt, in kind, congratulated Evans and the Patriots on their win. Check out the posts here below.

Note – specific terms of the wager included Evans having to wave Seattle’s 12th Man Flag in his Captain American uniform if the Patriots lost, and Pratt wearing a Tom Brady jersey (quarterback for the Patriots) for the duration of his visit if the Seahawks lost. So, looks like we’ll be seeing Pratt as Star-Lord as Tom Brady. But, what truly matters is that a lot of sick children, some of whom are fighting cancer, will get to meet two superheroes for the day and hopefully it brings a smile to their face, and awareness and donations to these two charity organizations.

UPDATE 2/6/2015: Pratt and Evans both visited Christopher’s Haven today, with Pratt dressed as Star-Lord and with the Tom Brady jersey! See the photos here. Next stop, Seattle Children’s Hospital. /Update.
