Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, and Dave Bautista on the Set of Next James Bond, Spectre

Sony Pictures shared some set photos and a behind the scenes video of the new James Bond film Spectre. The snowy backdrop provided only a glimpse of what is to come from the new film directed by Sam Mendes. Daniel Craig returns to reprise his role as Agent 007, and joining him will be Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, who is described as smarter than your average henchman; and Léa Seydoux as Dr. Swann, who is not your typical leading lady in Bond.

A couple of new images have dropped online, as well as some interesting new quotes from Bautista and Seydoux describing their characters. Hit the jump to see them.

In an interview with Empire, Bautista describes the character Mr. Hinx, and talks about what drew him to the role in the first place:

“When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions. I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, ‘Yes, he’s a badass.’ I said, ‘Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?’ He said, ‘Very.’ That’s what I like about Mr. Hinx. He’s very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I’m not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humour. He definitely knows what a metaphor is.”

So Mr. Hinx isn’t the typical henchman you would see in a film, and it looks like he will be able to catch a metaphor or two.

In the same interview Seydoux says she doesn’t consider Dr. Swann a typical Bond girl:

“I don’t consider myself a Bond girl. I think I’m not really the stereotyped Bond girl. I feel quite different. You can’t be like, ‘Oh, James.’ You have to find something else. She’s not a fighter, she’s a doctor. She fights in another way.”

Also starring Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Monica Belluci, Rory Kinnear, and Andrew Scott, Spectre opens in theaters on November 6, 2015.
