Boston Dynamics Atlas

Boston Dynamics continues to do some unbelievable work in the realms of robotics, while also helping to ensure that the robotic uprising will indeed happen some day.

The latest creation that they’re sharing with us is named Atlas, and it walks on its own, opens doors, lifts and moves boxes, and even takes a little punishment without complaint. You can check out the video below, which has amassed over six million views in just a couple of days.

I get that they want to test this little fella out and all, but do they have to be so mean about it? Ah well—at least we know who’s gonna eat it first when he robots do decide they’re sick of our shit.

Oh and if this isn’t terrifying enough, there’s always robot reindeers.
