Daniel Craig in Skyfall

An amusing little story has been making its way around the ‘net the past few days. Whether it’s actually true or not is not known for sure, but with not much news currently out there it’s a fun bit of potential movie trivia.

The story involves James Bond actor Daniel Craig and a pair of leather gloves he purchased, a pair of gloves that almost cost the production of James Bond flick Skyfall millions of dollars.

Check out the story in the videos below.

The story comes from Charlie Lyn was shared via Twitter, so it had to be split into two parts:

Some aren’t so sure about the tale, which is understandable these days when everything seems to be fabricated for attention or ratings and so on.

Over at /Film it’s pointed out that this might have happened, but in a different scene. As you can see in the image above—one of the first promotional images released for Skyfall—Craig is wearing a leather glove. But in the scene in the movie the image comes from, seen below, he is not wearing a glove.

We may never know for sure if it’s true, in either of these scenes, but I for one sure hope it is.
